COSMETIC TESTING: REAL or FAKE?

Testing Sells Products! That was a lesson that I learned throughout my Corporate career with Max Factor, Sterling Drug (Givenchy Cosmetics) and Revlon. You must be a very savvy consumer when listening to product claims. Think about it? I can call 10 friends to come over to my house, put a table in my basement, put some cream on their faces. Ask a few Questions? VIOLA! The next day I can make the claim that 8 of 10 women experienced increase moisturization, diminished fine line & wrinkles and YOU GET THE PICTURE. Start being an educated consumer instead of swallowing the hype! The only real testing in my opinion is conducted in an Independent Lab. Furthermore, that the company making the claim has NO FINANCIAL tie to the lab. That means to look & listen for the words OUR LAB (that means skewed testing). NOT REAL!!! Do you know that any company that has had a product tested in an independent lab will have pages of documentation that they are VERY PROUD TO SHARE. The Company is excited because no product tested will be skewed in their favor unless it works out that way. JUST the REAL FACTS. These tests cost Big bucks to make substantiated claims. Get it? Ask to see the results before you purchase a product with lofty claims.
