LipSense Long Lasting Lipstick or Lip Stain or Lipcolor?
Posted in Cosmetics, Lasting Lip Color, LipSense on May 4th, 2007
Lip Sense can obviously confuse current customers, new customers and SeneGence Distributors.
This morning I received a VERY EARLY MORNING Phone call from a prospective New Client. She asked me if I sold “Lip Stain”. For some reason, LipSense is so much better than the idea of Lip Stain to me. LipSense is a botanical based product that sits topical on your lips. Clearing my own confusion, I suppose that LipSense is a stain that is semi-permanent. Not at all like staining furniture which is what comes to my mind when someone says “stain”. My lips will not remain Red after I remove my LipSense tonight. Lipstick to me is a waxy product that will melt in the sun and in many cases will harm your lips. LipSense has no wax and you need to be careful not to expose it to the sun because it can change the color pigment. Now on to Lipcolor…LipSense long lasting Lip Color is what I call LipSense. LipSense is long lasting and semi-permanant but it is not Lipstick.
Lipstick is a NASTY WORD IN MY WORLD.
In conclusion, I will be a little more accepting of the word Lip Stain. Just don’t want women confused by the words.

I have been using the Lipsense in Brick and Raisin and sometimes Dusky Rose. Could you tell me please how does the Currant compare to the Raisin.
Thanks very much, I am interested in placing my next order from you.

Hi! Brenda,
Thanks for contacting me and I am happy to assist you with additional LipSense color considerations.
Raisin and Currant are 2 totally different colors. Currant is the #3 selling color in the LipSense Line. It is a medium (although to a bit deeper) rosy burgundy type of color. Raisin has a definite brown base and deeper pigment. Looking at the existing colors you have Raisin is a much deeper version of Dusty Rose, Brick, of course is a rusty red - orange and Currant would be quite different from the rest.
Hope this helps! Feel free to contact me for any further clarification.
Sincerely,
Carol
Yes, LipSense Brick is a bit bright on me but I actually like it. It lasts longer than the Raisin also for some reason. I like the Dusky Rose but it actually is a bit light for me, what would be a little darker than the Dusky Rose in the same family. Thanks so much for your help. The pics are hard to go by I think.
By the way! Please don’t worry about your choices. You being happy is most important to me and we will get to your perfect colors and any you don’t like you can just return to me.

Well thanks very much, I have right now the Lip Sense Brick, Raisin, Pearl Gloss, Latte (which is way too light for me) and Dusky Rose. I must admit I love these lip products. I have been wearing the all day wearing since Cover Girl came out with them and never had any problems other than all those dry out my lips very much. I don’t find that with the Lipsense. Thanks for all your help, that makes the world of difference.
Carol;
Is it true that I can finally have red lips during the night and no stain on my lips when I attempt to take it off? what do you use to take off your lipsense and is it safe.
Hi! Karen,
I will gladly hold my right hand up high and promise that LipSense does every bit of what you are looking for & more.
Yes! LipSense is FDA approved, very safe and NO Lead.
I will share with you that if you intend to apply it at 7pm and then attempt to remove it at 9pm you will probably have a bit of difficulty. If that is your intention then I would recommend that you purchase the Foops remover. However… If you leave it on for at least 4 hours then Oops should take care of removing your LipSense.
It is awesome and you will love it!
