First! and Foremost is skincare. Don’t waste money on color cosmetics without addressing your skin. SeneGence SeneDerm 3 in 1 Cleanser, Daytime Moisturizer,  Evening Moisturizer and Eyecreme is result based,very simple regimen and reasonably priced. The skincare is extremely beneficial as supported by Independent lab testing and will create that most beautiful flawless canvas suitable for applying color cosmetics.

On to the icing, Porcelain MakeSense Foundation( IF lightest fair) or Beige Chiffon MakeSense Foundation (Medium Fair) and ONLY after you apply the Daytime Moisturizer. The SeneDerm Daytime Moisturizer and the MakeSense Foundation layer to give you the equivalent of a 30 spf (most of which is non-chemical).

SeneGence offers many types of specialized concealers if that is something you require.

Pouty Pink BlushSense will be a perfect blush for you and create a youthful, fresh look.

Did I forget to mention that in order for cosmetics to be water resistant or waterproof they need to be a cream or liquid? Thus ShadowSense is incredible eyeshadow because of it’s blending capability which also means a few shades offer unlimited color. You should look a the following shades: Moca Java Shadowsense (soft brown), Ebony Essence for dual purpose of lining your eyes as well as deepening  Moca Java for evening dramatic shading in your crease and Sandstone Pearl Creme to Powder ShadowSense is an absolute must have for under your brow bone both day and night. I know that you prefer neutral eyes but keep in mind that just a small amount of color can add a huge impact without being blatant and offensive COLOR. Silver Violet ShadowSense would be another nice blending addition to my eyeshadow recommendations for you.

On to Lips! LipSense is the Real Deal!!! It layers which makes it very easy to lighten, deepen, tint or change just about any LipSense shade you choose. Three different colors of lipsense is the magic number because it is recommended that you wear three layers of LipSense. That means that three colors = 27 different lipstick shades. The following Lipsense colors are my recommendations for you: Crimson Red, Pink Champagne, Dark Pink, Rose Ice, Pink Ice and Creamy Pink LipSense. Some are a little more vibrant than others and an interesting addition would be Sugar Plum ( a hint of lavender with a bit of silver) and looks very pretty over Crimson Red and/0r Dark Pink). Do you generally wear a lipliner? LipSense linersense is available in a variety of shades although it will compliment you lipcolor, it is not necessary to wear a liner with the lipstick. Top off you LipSense with Glossy Gloss or Pearl Gloss.

CONTOURING!

It’s the Numero Uno term and lesson for the Glamor dedicated, Cosmeholic women. Okay! Only kidding because she actually said every women.
The absolute must to include in your daily morning beauty regimen according to Make Up Artist to the Celebs, Kandee.
How do you feel about your Nose?
Would you prefer it to appear turned up and thinner?

• Use SeneGence Bronze Pearl BlushSense or a deeper MakeSense Foundation such as Mink or Cafe Au Lait to perfectly contour your way to a pretty shaped nose.

Apply a thin line with a small make up brush on the brim of your nose on each side which is located right below the bridge of your nose. Blend in a downward fashion from your eye. Tap a slight amount on the bottom of your nose also.

• Let’s move on to the illusion of an attractive straight nose…
  You will need a MakeSense foundation that is about 2 shades lighter than the color used to contour the sides of your nose. In my particular case, I use my MakeSense White concealer Blending to create my perfect lighter contour shade. Now, take a small sponge or SeneGence Blending Brush and take a small line right down the center of your nose. Be extra careful when applying and blending so you do not blend the lighter shade onto the brim contour area.

My testimonial after using this Nose contouring technique for several weeks, is that it genuinely creates a enhanced definition to your face.

Highlighting Eyes and lifting your Cheek Bones was absolutely an essential aspect of Kandee’s training on minimalistic daily cosmetic application. In her opinion (and I agree) it was a very simple trick neccessary in keeping with putting your best face forward in just minutes every morning. Fast…Quick! and fabulous.

The Triangle (See Diagram) – Use MakeSense White Blender/Highlighter blended with Terra Cotta Blushsense or Natural Concealer to end of with a creamy shade of peach. Kandee said that a Peachy tone concealer is the correct choice for every women under the eye in the “V” area. It’s True! because I have been using this technique daily and am amazed at the difference in the shading and openness “look” of my eyes. The compliments come daily…WOO HOO! On the inner most corner of your eye, you will mix you SeneGence White concealer with a bit of your MakeSense Mink Foundation to blend to two to slight ginger shade and then apply with a brush or sponge OR if all else fails use your finger.

To Highlight your Cheek Bones, you will want to take a very small amount of MakeSense Pearlizer Foundation and blend it with your favorite shade of MakeSense Foundation. Then, Apply several dots of your blended Cheek Bone highlighter beginning with touching the top of your cheek bone even with the outer edge of your iris of you eye. Now…extend dots along the top of the cheek bone ending just efore you hairline. Finish always with blending perfection and in this case it should be in an upward fashion into your hairline. Volia!

Those comments oftentimes generate the direction of my writing…In fact, as recent as yesterday’s comment from Tammy regarding discontinued LipSense lipcolors . Yes! Indeed, I have listed the colors that have been discontinued while offering no viable alternative for replacement lipcolors.

What a rotten oversight on my part!

Have no fear that I will loudly voice that I have great news regarding a few favorite discontinued LipSense colors that have recently made a come back for a limited time. Currently available for ordering are Fantasy Fuscia, Diamond LipSense Baguette Beige and most recently Summer Love.

So you like Malted LipSense? Those warm toned shades are easiest for me to talk about because they all have a home in my personal cosmetic bag. Precious Topaz Diamond LipSense is a standard new updated version of Malted although not exact.

Consider the following combination that will arrive close to the shade of Malted depending on the pigment of color in your natural lips.

2 Layers of Precious Topaz
1 Layer of Gold Champagne LipSense Highlighter

2 Layers of Spice Ice
1 Layer of Peach LipSense

2 Layers of Sunburst Orange
1 Layer of Spice Ice

Do you miss Burnt Orange LipSense? If you have not tried Persimmon then you are missing out on the closest single color to the good, old favorite, discontinued Burnt Orange. The only difference in pigment is that it has a bit more slant on the burnt brown side instead of Orange.

Consider the following LipSense Combos to arrive at your personal closest Burnt Orange signature color:

1 Layer of Persimmon
1 Layer of Summer Sunset
1 Layer of Persimmon

2 Layers of Peach LipSense
Top it off with one Layer of Persimmon

Sand Gloss is my absolute favorite gloss to top off any of the preceding colors for a bit of added dazzle.

Are you looking for a discontinued LipSense Shade? Would you like me to recommend a new color combination that is close to your favorite old shade of Lipsense or even your current shade of lipstick? Happy to do so but at the moment this post is getting a little a bit long and I have answered Tammy’s personal request. Leave a comment and I promise to get back to you.

This knowledge will insure that your cosmetic and clothing selections are enhancing your overall look as well as complimenting your skin tone.

1. Can you visibly see a blue or yellow undertone in your skin?

If your answer is Yellow! You are Yellow based. Do you have a rosey or pink look or an obvious blue? Then you are most likely Blue based . It is important that you know that most people are cool toned.

2. What is your hair color? Is it your natural color? Do you have highlights? If so, are they golden or platinum?

The very obvious warm tones such as golden red hair or golden blond or any brown hair with golden highlights will be yellow toned. Most obvious blue tones would be Platinum blond hair or highlights, gray and brunettes with clarity in color.

3. What is your eye color? Blue? Green? Brown? Hazel? Gray? Black?

This is slightly more difficult to arrive at a definitive answer on color alone although certainly assists in arriving at the end result provided the previous questions are answered. Most pure Olive skin Asians and Latinos are cool toned .

4. Do you feel you look best in Gold or Silver jewelry?

Gold equals yellow and of course, Silver equals Blue.

5. Do you look best in Jewel toned clothing such as purple, royal blue, intense pinks, bluer toned reds? Pure white? Or do you look best in Oranges, browns, earth tones, yellow greens, orange red and Ivory?

If you chose the jewel tones and pure white then you are most likely blue based. Do you feel your best when you are wearing earth tones, olive green with touch of orange? It is a safe bet that you are warm toned.

There is an exception to most rules and this is in no way an exact science. The interesting aspect is that some women are quite fortunate to be neutral toned. These lucky women have the ability to mix it up with both warm and cools tones and in the end being equally complimented by both.

Hopefully, this has removed the mystery from determining whether you are blue or yellow based. If not, the good new is that many companies including SeneGence International are adding neutral products that will suffice for either side.
